- Arbitrage
- Arbitrage is betting on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit.
- Asian Handicap
- Asian Handicap is a spread betting system that eliminates the draw outcome and offers two possible winning sides.
- Bankroll
- Bankroll is the total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Both Teams To Score
- Both Teams To Score is a bet on whether both sides will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- Cash Out lets you settle your bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Clean Sheet
- Clean Sheet is a bet on whether a team will finish the match without conceding any goals.
- Cover
- Cover means a team wins by more points than the spread, resulting in a winning bet on that side.
- Edge
- Edge is the advantage you believe you have over the bookmaker’s odds in a particular wager.
- Form Guide
- Form Guide is a record of a team’s recent results, used to assess current performance trends.
- Futures
- Futures are bets placed on outcomes that will be decided later, such as which team will win the tournament.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- Half-Time/Full-Time is a bet predicting both the halftime leader and the final result of a match.
- Head-to-Head
- Head-to-Head compares past results between two teams, often used to predict their upcoming match.
- In-Play Betting
- In-Play Betting, also called live betting, allows you to place bets on a match while it is happening.
- Juice
- Juice, also called vig, is the commission the bookmaker charges for taking a bet, built into the odds.
- Line Movement
- Line Movement refers to changes in the odds or spread over time as more bets are placed.
- Moneyline
- Moneyline is a bet on which team will win a match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- Odds represent how likely an outcome is and show how much money you can win relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- Over/Under is a bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be more or less than a set number.
- Parlay
- Parlay is a single bet that links together multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Point Spread
- Point spread is a handicap given to the favorite team to level the betting field, indicated by a margin.
- Push
- Push happens when a bet ends in a tie, resulting in the stake being returned without a win or loss.
- Stake
- Stake is the amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Value Bet
- Value Bet occurs when the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you an expected profit.
- xG
- xG, or Expected Goals, is a metric estimating the quality of scoring chances, indicating how many goals a team should score.
